Site Surveys

Many Engineering and Aerospace businesses can be at risk of polluting and the legislation in the UK means that if you do pollute then you pay the price with a fine!

Now you need to have in place a spill management programme that has a proactive rather than reactive attitude to limit the impact of a spillage incident. There is no point in trying to purchase Absorbents, Spill Kits or Drain Protection after you've had an accident as you must, by law, have the products in place... just in case.

A site survey is not designed to sell you more than you need, but to give you good sound advice as to what you should have by law/legislation and what would be a good idea to have. Censol personel have many years experience in the spillage and absorbents field and are here to assist you.

Due to increasing legislation surrounding potential spills, it is important to have either a emergency spill contingency plan or an active absorbent spill management system in place. This is why we offer a free* of charge survey that is intended to highlight any non compliant areas and make suggestions for you in equipping of the site.

Our surveys will both help you get in line with the Pollution Prevention Guidelines (PPG) and can even help you achieve ISO 14001.

Our surveys are flexible too. As part of our responsibility in this area, our policy is to only recommend items that your site needs, and each survey is tailored for your site (not a generic template), selecting products from our range that would be practical and necessary.

The report findings will be presented to your site in a written form or can be emailed, first highlighting the relevant legislation surrounding the findings, and then the area requirements. Surveys may be important where your site is considering an environmental management system (EMS) or if an audit is required for insurance purposes.

* Free of charge at Censol discretion
